Valve has officially announced Counter-Strike 2 as the next step in the game series. A series of videos detailing some of the changes coming to the game in the summer of 2023 have been shared on YouTube channels. Three short videos showcased updates that will affect a complete overhaul of the maps, tick rates, and how smoke works.
