Settiny: A Community-Driven Journey of Growth and Renewal

Dear Settiny Community, For a long time, we haven’t been able to make the progress we had hoped for with Settiny. One of the main reasons behind this was that our work didn’t yield the tangible results we expected. This caused us to pause for a while and focus on other projects. However, during this time, we realized something very important that we had overlooked: you, the valued users of Settiny, continued where we left off. While we took a break from working on Settiny, you kept using it and helping it grow. Thanks to the commitment and contributions of our users, our platform continued to grow day by day. This organic growth, along with the positive feedback we received from you, became a great source of inspiration for us. Seeing that Settiny is not just ours, but also a part of the community, deeply touched us. Because of this, we could no longer ignore this development. Thanks to you, Settiny grew a little more every day, reached more people, and became richer with each new user. In response to this, we have decided to roll up our sleeves again in a way that befits this big family. Now, we are picking up where we left off, but this time with much greater energy, a clearer vision, and stronger goals! We have embarked on an intense work process to make Settiny a more robust platform that will meet your expectations and needs. During this process, the feedback and suggestions from our users will be our greatest guide. Because Settiny is where it is today thanks to your contributions, and we want to go even further with you. We believe that with your support on this journey full of innovation, we will take even stronger steps. Together, we will make Settiny a bigger, more functional, and more inspiring platform. Thank you, Settiny family, we are stronger with you!

What You Need to Know About Counter-Strike 2

The release date of Counter-Strike 2 is eagerly anticipated by many gaming enthusiasts. Although an exact release date has not been announced yet, the expected launch window is in the summer of 2023. Valve has announced the initiation of the testing phase for Counter-Strike 2. During this testing phase, selected CS:GO players will have the opportunity to try out the beta version of the game. The purpose of these tests is to identify and address any issues or bugs in the game's features, ensuring a more stable release of Counter-Strike 2 before it becomes available to the wider audience. Rumors surrounding Counter-Strike 2 were growing and generating curiosity prior to the official announcement. Finally, on March 22nd, the anticipated statement arrived, confirming that Valve is indeed working on Counter-Strike 2. It was stated that the game will be released in the upcoming summer months and will enhance the CS experience in every aspect. Counter-Strike 2 is said to feature significant innovations such as revamped maps, dynamic smoke grenade, and the "sub-tick" update. These enhancements will capture players' interest and further elevate the gaming experience. One of the most notable innovations in Counter-Strike 2 since its initial introduction is the attention-grabbing smoke grenade. The smoke grenade has undergone a complete structural overhaul and now has the ability to create a fixed curtain of smoke within a specific area when it detonates. It operates dynamically, meaning that the smoke cloud is affected by in-game conflicts. For instance, bullets from weapons create small gaps as they travel through the smoke cloud. Counter-Strike 2 presents itself as a new game with its name, and it offers visual improvements to the existing maps. This is attributed to the transition to the Source 2 engine. Valve considers this change as the most significant technical advancement in Counter-Strike history. As a result, the maps will feature a clearer and cleaner visual aesthetic. What is Tick Rate? "Tick rate" refers to the communication speed between the player and the server in a multiplayer or online mode of a game. It represents the process of the player's actions being transmitted to the server, processed on the server, and the results being sent back to the player. Tick rate is typically measured in hertz (Hz) and indicates the number of processing cycles per second. For example, a server with a 64 tick rate (64-tick) processes the player's actions 64 times per second and updates are sent to the players. A higher tick rate value provides a faster and more responsive player experience because actions are processed more quickly and feedback is delivered to the player with lower latency. A higher tick rate value can create a more fair and competitive environment among players. Lower tick rate values can introduce increased delays and, in some cases, slight delays in displaying the player's actions in real-time. Therefore, high tick rate servers can enhance the gameplay experience by offering faster and more precise responsiveness, thereby increasing competitiveness among players. The "sub-tick" innovation in Counter-Strike 2 represents an advancement in the game's underlying framework. This innovation fills the gaps between ticks, allowing actions to be processed and executed much faster. Actions such as shooting, throwing grenades, or jumping are processed instantly and without waiting for the next tick, thanks to this new architecture. With this innovation, the player's actions are processed more swiftly on the server. As a result, players' actions are reflected in real-time with greater speed. This allows for faster responsiveness and enhances the overall fluidity of the game. The "sub-tick" innovation aims to provide Counter-Strike 2 with improved gameplay and competitiveness. Players' actions are processed more rapidly, and the outcomes are visible more quickly, enabling faster and more dynamic competition among players. How can I participate in the closed beta of Counter-Strike 2? I would like to mention that participating in the closed beta of Counter-Strike 2 is currently a process controlled by the developers. Invitations are typically sent to existing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, but there is no opportunity to request or apply for these invitations. The distribution and recipients of invitations are determined by the developers based on various factors. To find out if you have received an invitation, you can check the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive main menu. The developers send the invitations to the selected players. To be part of the closed beta process, it is important to follow the announcements and communications of the developers. You can stay updated with the latest information through their official website, social media accounts, or other gaming news sources. It is recommended to follow the developers' guidelines and announcements regarding closed beta participation by keeping track of their updates.
